PETER TAIT JACKET

Perhaps the most iconic of Confederate imported goods are the jackets made by the Peter Tait company in Limerick, Ireland. These jackets came in a variety of trim styles, with the trimmed collar and untrimmed being perhaps some of the most common. The two jackets this reproduction are based on are the 2nd MD jacket and the Pendleton/2nd VA Infantry jackets. Available in plain with script ‘I’ buttons (comes with removable red artillery facings attached for the event) and artillery style with red facing and ‘A’ buttons. Made by K. Windahl & Co.
